I have been to Lumina several times, and I have met with Shannon and Nicole. (Both ladies are very beautiful and knowledgeable) What a beautiful memory care community for our loved ones. Take a tour and see what wonderful things and activities they have for everyone. I will definitely be referring my clients here when it comes to memory care.

I've had the pleasure of attending an open house at Lumina Memory Care facility. What a beautiful state of the art facility with some of the most luxurious accommodations I have seen in the Las Vegas area. Their approach to Alzheimer’s and dementia care is one like I have never seen. I was lucky enough to get a tour from Shannon Posatiere and can I say that her knowledge of how the community was built to accommodate residents within different stages of dementia was just inspiring. I will definitely be referring clients to Shannon and Lumina.

(Original) What is the difference between forgetfulness, dementia and Alzheimer's disease?

A:

(Original) Normal forgetfulness is part of the aging process and usually begins in middle age. However, there is a great difference between occasionally forgetting your keys and dementia. People with dementia cannot retrieve information and, in most cases, lose the ability to remember. Dementia can be a variety of diagnosis. The most common is Alzheimer’s, a severe, progressive loss of recent memory and thinking ability.

A:
